After initial interrogation by the police, it was established that Mahipal was a Haryana police head constable and was serving as a personal security guard of Additional Sessions Judge Krishan Kant.
Mahipal had been demanding leave to visit his home for quite some time now, however, his leave was not sanctioned, a police officer said.
“The judge also used to scold him often,” one of the interrogating officers said.
