Massive fire breaks out at factory in Delhi’s Shahdara, 26 fire tenders at spot

A massive fire broke out at a chemical factory in east Delhi’ Jhilmil Industrial Area on Thursday evening. According to reports, 26 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire. 

Some reports suggest that a short circuit caused the fire in the four-storey building. Efforts are underway to douse the flames.

No casualty has been reported so far, the Fire Department said. 

Meanwhile, reports are coming that a fire broke out in Dilshad Garden,  near DCP Office,  Delhi.  Over two dozen fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
