It was a hot and cloudy morning in the national capital today with minimum temperature settling at 29.8 degrees Celsius, eight notches above normal in this season.
“The morning was cloudy and the minimum temperature recorded at 29.8 degrees Celsius at 8.30 am which is eight degrees above normal for the season,” said a MeT department official.
Weatherman has predicted a partly cloudy sky for the day with likelihood of dust storm or thunderstorm occurring in the evening or night.
Maximum temperature is expected to hover around 40 degrees Celsius. The humidity level was recorded at 28 percent in the morning. The maximum temperature yesterday reached 44 degrees Celsius while minimum settled at 28.4 degrees Celsius.
