Muzaffarnagar: Four foetuses found in dustbin

Four aborted foetuses were found on Friday in a dustbin at Purkazi town in the district, said police.

A case has been registered against unidentified persons and the foetuses were sent for postmortem, they said. According to Additional Chief Medical Officer B K Ojha, four foetuses including, three of females, were found in a garbage bin at Purkazi town on Thursday.

Police suspected that they have been dumped by a clinic. A team of health department has started inspections and sealed two clinics for irregularities. The incident came to light when some locals found the foetuses in the bin.
