Noida Authority Launches Apurti Suvidha App For Doorstep Delivery Of Essential Items

This Noida Apurti App Also Provides Information About Vendors Providing Fresh Fruits And Vegetables In Their Respective Localities And Place The Order Accordingly.

Amid 21-day nationwide lockdown to fight coronavirus, the Noida Authority has launched a new app to deliver essential items at doorstep. The app - Noida Authority Apurti Suvidha — is available for Android users and residents of Noida can order essential items likes medicine, vegetables, fruits, grocery items without any hassles.

This Noida Apurti app also provides information about vendors providing fresh fruits and vegetables in their respective localities and place the order accordingly. Names and contact details of the vendors can be easily accessed using this app. They can call and order vegetables and fruits and the vendor will deliver it at the doorstep," Ritu Maheshwari, chief executive officer of Noida authority told Hindustan Times.

The app can be downloaded from Play Store as well as from the official website of the Noida authority - noidaauthorityonline.com. Maheshwari said that soon the app will available for Apple iPhone users.

To place an order, residents of Noida will have to provide their information about the area along with the list of required items. One done, the app will direct you to the sector and service provider name, along with the mobile number.

Meanwhile, the Noida Authority has already allowed home delivery of essential items.

"The Noida Authority has allowed the delivery of essential items to the people at the door. Vegetable stalls will be set up in many places. For this many places are being marked so that consumers stand at least one meter from each other," Maheshwari told ANI.

"Noida Authority is the cleaning and sanitising the city. 260 people were allowed to deliver essential goods at the door. We have made a list of 85 chemists and grocery stores which will provide doorstep delivery of goods," she added.
