As cold wave tightens grip over North India, Noida DM orders schools to remain shut till January 15

In the wake of prevalent cold waves engulfing the entire North Indian region, the Noida District Magistrate ordered on Thursday that all schools in the city will remain shut till Jnauary 15. 

Cold wave condition intensified over north India after heavy snowfall in neighbouring Uttarakhand and icy winds blew through many places in Uttar Pradesh.  On Thursday, morning temperate plummeted to 2 degree celsius.

The relative humidity level oscillated between 54 and 100 per cent.

“The maximum and minimum temperatures on Friday are likely to hover around 17 and 3 degrees Celsius, respectively,” the weatherman said.
