Doing a volte-face, the Noida gang rape victim has changed her statement a day after filing a complaint of abduction and sexual assault, police said.

According to the Noida police, a day after filing FIR, the girl has given a written statement saying no such incident took place.

Earlier on Friday, the 25-year-old BPO employee had alleged that she was abducted from near the Golf Course metro station, gang-raped in a moving car and then dumped near the Akshardham temple in Delhi.

The woman had also lodged an FIR in Noida sector 39 police station.

The police then sent her to a hospital for a medical test where she met with a relative and went from there without the examination.

The police again asked the girl for medical examination on which she agreed to outer body examination but refused internal tests.
