Delhi-NCR woke up to loud thundershowers and Twitter is lit with cool photos and quirky captions on the sudden weather change. Almost everyone is happy with the timing of the rains as it coincides with February 14, which is celebrated as Valentine’s Day world over. While many young couples are planning to go on long drives and spend quality time, those heading towards office may find it difficult to work!

On Wednesday also, it was a partly cloudy morning in Delhi, with the minimum temperature settling one notch above the average for the season at 11.4 degrees Celsius. Relative humidity was 98 per cent, at 8.30 AM, said a MeT department official.

The MeT department had predicted very light rain or thundershowers by the night are forecast for the day. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 24 degrees Celsius. On Tuesday, the minimum and maximum temperatures settled at 10.6 and 23.6 degrees Celsius respectively.
