Delhi: Three more criminals arrested in connection with Rohini court shootout

The Delhi Police has arrested three more criminals in connection with the shoot out of an under trial inside the premises of Delhi’s Rohini court.

On Monday, an under-trial was shot dead inside Rohini court complex and the shooter was arrested by the police from the spot.

It was revealed in the investigation that the shooter had come to allegedly kill Rajesh Bawani, a rival of gangster Neeraj Bawana.

However, he killed another under trial Vinod alias Ballu mistakenly. Rajesh Bawani, was supposed to come to Rohini court to attend the hearing in a robbery case but was late on that day.

According to the police, the three arrested criminals were identified as Deepu, Sonu and Monu – all members of Neeraj Bawana’s gang.

Police said, Bawani, who is currently lodged in the Tihar jail had asked them to eliminate Rajesh Bawani, the only remaining rival of the gangster.

In an another case, the Delhi police has also arrested a most wanted Yudhvir alias Kala Pandit and also recovered three fire arms and five cartridges from his possession. Pandit was also wanted in four cases of shootout in Rohini.
