Low-cost carrier Spicejet on Tuesday began daily direct flight to Kanpur from Delhi under the Udan scheme, making it’s the seventh destination under this.
“With the commencement of operations to Kanpur, Spicejet is now operating on all sectors allotted to the airline under the first phase of Udan and has also begun operations to airports like Hubli that it bagged in the second phase of Udan,” the airline said.
With the addition of the Delhi-Kanpur flight, the airline now operates 15 flights under Udan—Mumbai-Porbandar, Mumbai-Kandla, Hyderabad-Puducherry, Jaipur-Jaisalmer, Delhi-Adampur, Chennai-Hubli and Hyderabad-Hubli sectors.
Finzy gets P2P licence from RBI
Bengaluru-based peer-to-peer platform Finzy on Tuesday said it has received NBFC-P2P licence from the Reserve Bank.
“Our focus on customer experience, proprietary credit assessment algorithm and a secure digital platform has allowed us to achieve zero defaults in the first year of our operations, thereby building trust with all our stakeholders,” the company said.
In early April, Finzy had raised USD 1.3 million from investors and is expecting to complete the second round later this month.
Travel channel Travelxp enters Singapore
Travel channel Travelxp has partnered with StarHub to enter the Singapore market, said the channel that claims a reach of over 91 million homes across the world.
The partnership with Singapore-based firm will give it access to the latter’s 4,49,000 subscribers. This is Travelxp’s first expansion in the Asia Pacific region.
