Gurgaon police on Thursday arrested 15 people, including five foreigners, from a spa center at sector 29 market for their alleged involvement in the sex trade.
Those arrested included five women were from Thailand, five girls from Manipur, one from Uttar Pradesh and four males, including two customers, a police official said, according to PTI.
The arrests were made during a raid on the spa centre by police on the directions of newly appointed Police Commissioner KK Rao, Gurgaon Police PRO Subhash Bokan told media.
While the owner of the spa, Yudhvir Singh was yet to be arrested, the manager and a helper were nabbed by the police.

“We have registered an FIR under relevant sections of the IPC and the Foreigners Act pertaining to prostitution against the spa owner, Yudhvir Singh who is absconding. We have arrested the spa manager and his helper during the raid,” Bokan said.
The police were verifying the visas of the foreigners to ascertain if any of the Thai women were staying without a working visa.
The police team also raided two night clubs and arrested seven people, including two women, for their alleged involvement in immoral activities, the official said.
