Amid reports of the first confirmed coronavirus case in the national capital, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said 'we should not panic' and it is important to take precautions. Sisodia also said that the process of setting up of isolation wards in 25 hospitals is underway. “In 25 hospitals, the process of setting up of isolation wards is underway. We have to take care of personal hygiene and develop a habit of washing our hands frequently,” he said while addressing a press conference.
Apart from 25 hospitals, the Delhi government has designated six private and 19 government hospitals for the treatment of coronavirus patients. Sisodia also said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been informed about the one positive case in Delhi.
Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that the government has arranged 3.5 lakh N-95 masks. "As a precautionary measure against Coronavirus, Delhi govt had arranged 3.5 Lakh N-95 masks. Arranged 8000 separation kit for medical staff treating coronavirus patient," Jain said
Meanwhile, the Hyatt Regency Delhi has issued an advisory asking all its staff present at La Piazza restaurant on February 28 to self-quarantine for 14 days after government authorities recently confirmed that an individual who dined at the hotel has been diagnosed with coronavirus. “All colleagues who were present at the restaurant on February 28 have been asked to self-quarantine for 14 days. The restaurant has also started to conduct daily temperature checks for all colleagues and contractors when they enter and exit the building,” Hyatt Regency hotel said.
The advisory was issued after Health Ministry officials were seen sanitising the hotel.
"Since receiving this news, as advised by the authorities, the hotel has enacted elevated precautionary operational protocols, including deep-cleaning measures in the restaurant, colleagues lockers and in all public areas, restaurants and meeting spaces across the hotel," the statement said.

"All colleagues who were present at the restaurant on February 28, 2020 have been asked to self-quarantine for 14 days," the statement added.
