Metro rail service here was disrupted for sometime in the Moosapet-Miyapur section on Saturday owing to technical reasons.
The disruption was because of the parting of catenary (the curve that an idealised hanging chain or cable assumes under its own weight when supported only at its ends) overhead equipment, a press release said.

Then, a single-line work was carried out and service partially restored, the release said.
A team of workers, along with a catenary maintenance vehicle, was engaged to set things right and normal service resumed, the release added.
