A 4.5-magnitude earthquake rocked Rajasthan’s Bikaner at 10:36 am on Sunday, the meteorological department said. No casualty or damage to property has been reported because of the quake, with latitude 28.0 degree north and longitude 73.4 degree east.
Earlier on Monday, an earthquake of 4.3 magnitude, with epicentre in Bhutan, shocked Assam.
The quake struck at a depth of 10 km in the neighbouring Himalayan kingdom, with latitude 27.9 degree north and longitude 91.5 degree east, it said. No casualty or damage to property has been reported so far, police said.
Last week, an earthquake of 4.8 magnitude, with epicentre in Manipur's Imphal district, had hit parts of the northeast region.
