As many as 5,107 out of the total 9,119 complaints were disposed of in the year 2017-18 by the Lokayukta in Rajasthan, according to an annual report.
Most of the complaints (885) were against the personnel of revenue department, followed by 860 against the department of local self-government.
An annual report presented by Lokayukta S S Kothari to Governor Kalyan Singh mentioned that 4,312 complaints were pending on April 1, 2017, before the Lokayukta and 4,807 new complaints were received in 2017-18.
The Lokayukta also took cognisance in 27 matters reported in media, an official statement said.
Kothari told the Governor that disciplinary actions were initiated against 407 public servants in various cases on the recommendation of the Lokayukta Secretariat during the year for which the report was presented, the release said.
