Two persons were arrested with arms and ammunition from Amrity, 12 km from from Malda in West Bengal, the police said on Thursday.
Acting on an information, the police apprehended the duo on Wednesday night, Superintendent of police Arnab Ghosh said in a statement.

The arms and ammunition recovered were one double barrel gun and three improvised fire arms besides one 12 bore bullet and two cartridges of .303 rifle, he said.
