There’s always been a saying that ‘Dogs are men’s best friends’ but do we ever ask ourselves what did we ever do to deserve dogs, their never-dying loyalty? In yet another thousands and thousands of dog hero stories, a hero dog from Banda in Uttar Pradesh is making netizens cut onions everywhere. According to reports, after a fire broke out in a building, a dog saved the life of more than 30 people by constantly barking and alerting them then later later dying in a cylinder blast triggered by the fire.

‘Domestic dog saves life of more than 30 people by alerting them about fire in the building. An eyewitness says, "The dog kept barking at the fire which alerted everyone and allowed them to escape safely. The dog later died when a cylinder blasted’’ ANI tweeted.

The fire is reported to have engulfed a building, where about 30 people lived, in Banda. The residents however survived because of the ever-precautious dog who alerted them of the impending danger that even meant giving up its own life.

New Indian Express reports that an operation to clean the debris is underway. The fire department is likely to register a FIR against the owner of the building for allegedly running an illegal furniture factory without following proper norms.
