Dr Kafeel Khan, one of the main accused in the Baba Raghav Das (BRD) Medical College Hospital tragedy, on Monday said that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was doing politics and misleading the people in the 2017 infant death case.

Dr Khan, commenting on Yogi Adityanath’s statement that no deaths took place due to lack of oxygen supply, said “What CM ha said was incorrect. The supplier of oxygen had written to hospital authorities to clear his dues, to continue oxygen supply.”

Dr Khan also rubbished Yogi adityanath’s remark that the deaths took place due to Encephalitis, saying, “newborns don’t get Encephalitis’ and 27 newborn babies had died at the medical college between August 10 to 12, 2107.
