Minor girl raped by five men in ICU of UP hospital

A minor girl admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private hospital was allegedly gang raped by five men on Sunday in Uttar Pradesh, news agency ANI reported. “The Victim narrated her ordeal after she was shifted to the general ward. A case has been registered and investigation is underway,” said A Singh Superintendent of Police (City).

The police have till now filed an FIR against a hospital staffer while four other unidentified men are on the run, ANI reported.

The girl was on ventilator in the hospital after getting bit by a snake. She was later shifted to the general ward where she narrated the unfortunate incident, said the police.

“The police reached the hospital immediately after learning about the incident. An FIR has been lodged and investigation is underway,” said Singh.
