Sexual harassment in UP: 22-yr-old woman attempts suicide in Muzaffarnagar

A 22-year-old woman allegedly attempted suicide after facing sexually harassment by a youth, police said on Thursday.

The woman tried to hang herself on Wednesday in her house in Shahpur town, after she was sexually harassed by a neighbour, a police official said.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital by her relatives whohave also filed a complaint against the youth. "The search for the accused is on," the official said.
