A massive fire broke out on the '33rd floor of Beaumonde Towers at Prabhadevi in Mumbai, where Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has a house. The actress, who was stcuk in the building took to Twitter and said she was "safe".

As many as 12 fire tenders, five jumbo tankers and two hydraulic platforms were rushed to the spot to extinguish the level-III fire which broke out at the 33rd floor of Beaumonde Towers.
"I am safe. Thank You everyone. Let us pray for our firefighters who are at site risking their lives," tweeted Deepika Padukone, who was stuck inside the building.

So far, 90 people have been evacuated by the fire brigade personnel. While the rescue and firefighting operations were on, thick black smoke was seen rising above the high rise building.
No one was reported injured in the fire, fire brigade sources said.
"Our staff and Fire Brigade is on the spot for assistance. They are trying their best to douse the fire and provide necessary help to people there," Mumbai police said in a statement.
