New Delhi:
Elphinstone Road station on the Western line of the Mumbai’s suburban railway network has been renamed as Prabhadevi station.
Necessary changes were being made to the indicators, station boards and PA system for the ease of passengers said an official statement.

The station code for Prabhadevi will be PBHD, the statement added.
The decision to change the name of the station was passed in the winter session of the Maharashtra Assembly in Nagpur on December 2016
