Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday kickstarted his election campaign for upcoming Assembly elections in Chhattisgarh from Jagdalpur. The prime minister arrived at Raipur airport and then took a helicopter to Jagdalpur, the headquarters of Naxal-hit Bastar district. Chhattisgarh will go to polls in two phases on November 12 and November 20. The counting of votes will be held on December 11 and a total of1,291 candidates are in the fray.
