With 2018 Assembly elections knocking on the doors, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its campaign across five poll-bound states - Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Mizoram and Telangana. BJP president Amit Shah, who arrived at Chhattisgarh on Sunday, is expected to release the elections manifesto in the state. Polling in Chhattisgarh will be held in two phases on November 12 and 20. The counting of votes will take place on 11 December, 2018.

During his visit to Chhattisgarh's Raipur, Shah will address a public rally at Ambagarh Chowki and Khujji Vidhan Sabha in Rajnandgaon district. Besides that, the BJP chief is scheduled to address public meeting at Sadak Atariya, Khairagarh Vidhan Sabha in Rajnandgaon district.

Apart from Shah, Chief Minister Raman Singh will be addressing four public meetings at Bilaigarh, Sakti, Masturi and Mungeli. He is also expected to take part in the launch of the election manifesto in Raipur.
