14 fake doctors arrested from Hazaribag

As many as 14 fake doctors were arrested from different areas at Hazaribag in Jharkhand, a senior official said on Wednesday.

Following complaints, a raid was carried out on Tuesday leading to the arrest of 14 fake doctors, including a woman. They were practising as doctors without possessing medical degree, Deputy Commissionerof Hazaribag Ravi Shankar Shukla said.

Two shop owners were also arrested in the case for allegedly allowing some of these men to practise from their premises, Shukla said.

The Deputy Commissioner has ordered further investigation into the matter and assured stringent action against the wrongdoers.
