At least 21 persons were injured on Sunday after a bus in which they were travelling plunged into a deep gorge at Kiari Nallah on Solan-Shimla border in Himachal Pradesh. However, no casualty has been reported into the incident so far. According to Omapati Jamwal, SP, Shimla, all the passengers have been rescued from the spot and were rushed to the hospital.
"21 persons were injured after a tourist bus fell into a gorge at Kiari Nallah on Solan-Shimla border. All the passengers have been rescued and the injured have been shifted to hospital: Omapati Jamwal, SP (Shimla) Himachal Pradesh," the news agency ANI reported.

Of the injured, 15, including the driver and the conductor, are being treated at a community health center in Junga, whereas six people, whose condition was critical, were referred to the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) in Shimla.
The actual reason behind the tragedy is yet to be ascertained.
The news came just a day after a private bus carrying passengers, mostly schoolchildren, fell into a canal in Karnataka's Mandya district on Saturday. The mishap left 30 persons dead and several injured.
Soon after the incident, Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy cancelled all his official engagements and rushed to the spot where rescue operations were on in full swing. The Karnataka government has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh for the keen of the deceased.
