Manish Sharma had shot at himself after killing UP Bar Council president Darvesh Yadav.

Advocate Manish Sharma, who shot dead Uttar Pradesh Bar Council president Darvesh Yadav, succumbed during treatment on Saturday. Sharma had shot at himself after killing the UP Bar Council president inside the Agra court premises on June 12. Manish was undergoing treatment at a Gurugram hospital.

Yadav, who assumed the chairperson charge just two days ago, was attending a welcome ceremony when she was fatally shot by Sharma. Manish shot her thrice before shooting himself. Yadav was rushed to Pushpanjali Hospital where she was declared brought dead.

According to reports, Sharma and Yadav knew each other for a long time and he was also her senior at Agra College where they both completed their LLM. However, all was not well between them and they had stopped talking to each other few months ago, the report added.

Some eye witnesses said the two had heated arguments in senior lawyer Arvind Mishra's chamber, when Manish Sharma lost his cool, pulled out his pistol and fired at Darwesh from point blank range.
