CBSE 10th 12th Board Exam 2020: MCQs to be tougher than subjective questions!

Central Board of Secoundary Examination has introduced a massive change in the pattern which would be implemented from CBSE 10th 12th Board Exam 2020. After introducing 25% multiple choice questions (MCQs) in all the subjects in board exam 2020, it has now decided to make Multiple choice Questions difficult that the last few years.

According to officials, the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE is conducting annual workshops for teachers to help them adapt to the new changes in the curriculum and the exam pattern for the class 10 and 12 board examination. The board which has introduced huge changes in the examination pattern will be implementing the same in class 10 and 12 board examination 2020.

As per new marking scheme shared by the board for the class 10 and 12 examinations there will be 20 marks dedicated to objective type questions. Although many perceive the MCQ pattern to be easier it is comparatively difficult as there will just be a right or wrong answer. 

Detailing about how the new MCQ will be frma a board officials mentioned that the question setter may pick up any line from the NCERT text and turn the same into a fill in the blank or an MCQ. Only those students who are thorough with the subjects will be able to secure marks there.

Almost all the subjects which also include practical subjects such as Mathematics, Accountancy will have 15 to 20 marks dedicated to multiple-choice questions.Thje students however,  have an option to either attempt the questions or not and it will be tougher than subjective questions because the entire chapter can be considered as a question bank for the MCQ section.

Students are being recommended rely more on NCERT text books then on reference books to crack the MCQ questions better.

Meanwhile, the board has asked schools affiliated to it to not entertain any request for subject change in classes 10 and 12, the board
