CBSE Board Exam 2019: Changes in class 10, 12 admit cards, here’s what all you need to know

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the class 10 and 12 admit cards on the official website of the board i.e. cbse.nic.in. Students are advised to collect their admit cards from their respective schools. The CBSE Class 10 exams will begin from February 21, while Class 12 exams will be held from February 15 to April 3, 2019. 

This year, CBSE has included additional information on the admit card for classes 10 and 12. Apart from the roll number, date of birth, candidate name and exam name, CBSE has also decided to include additional information such as category of PwD students and exemptions provided. Hence, candidates under the PwD are advised to check their admit card and confirm if the exemptions requested for have been specified in the admit cards. The code for exemptions provided include:

S = Scribe

E = Extra Time

A = Assistive Device

L = Large Font

P = Adult Prompter

In case the student has asked for exemption but the admit card doesn’t have it, he/ she should immediately get in touch with their respective schools/ institution to get it rectified. Students should also check the other details and get it rectified, if any error.

The exam will be conducted in the morning session, from 10.30 am to 1:30 pm, the answer books will be distributed at 10 am and question papers at 10:15 am. The students can check the date sheet from the official website.
