CBSE Counselling Support Process is going to begin from February 1, 2020. According to the latest updates, Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the annual pre-exam counselling support for students appearing for Board Exams 2020 from February 1, 2020. Through this counselling helpline facility, CBSE will provide counselling support to students appearing for Board Exam 2020 through phone, social media and various other methods.

Meanwhile, the free helpline number - 1800 11 8004 is for students and parents to ask question on various topics such as how to deal with exam stress and tips to ace the board exam 2020. In addition, the counsellors are there to help students with time management, better preparation and stress management techniques. Students will be able to connect live with principals and professional counsellor from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM every day. The helpline support by CBSE will be provided in India and in nine other countries.

Other than the Telephonic counselling support, CBSE will publish a question/answer support column in all the national newspapers in the month of February, 2020. Importantly, CBSE will provide assistance through Audio-Visual content that will be available on the official website, i.e. cbse.nic.in. Questions on Aggression, Exam stress, specific learning disorder, depression, and life skills will be taken into consideration through this audio-visual counselling support.

CBSE will also leverage social media platforms like YouTube and Facebook in order to promote healthy practices regarding board exam and also share content that will be helpful for students to stay motivated and confident before the Board exams 2020.
