CBSE has started the evaluation process of its Board Exams held this year, at least that is what its newly launched Android App 'CBSE Siksha Vani' says.Â
The app will podcast news and events directly to the stakeholders and will disseminate the information uniformly.Â
On this App, the board has also uploaded the guidelines for checking the board exam papers of 2019. The podcast will also help the board in circulating information about the training process and other initiatives.
The App, “CBSE Shiksha Vani†can be downloaded from Google Play Store which is currently available for Android users. For i-phone users, it is not available as of now. The App will help people stay updated with the latest information from the board. The information shared on the App will be really helpful to students, teachers, regional officers in the wake of fake news being circulated by malicious elements.
"Podcasts are highly engaging in comparison to written information issued in the form of circulars. As seen in classrooms, the oral mode of communication is certainly more effective, time efficient, and environment-friendly" said the official notification.
"In line with the Board's zero-error policy for evaluation, standard directions are required to be circulated to the evaluation centres spread across the country."
CBSE has also located more fake news links about exam paper leaks on YouTube. You can find the links here.
The Board mentioned that it is keeping a constant vigil and bringing such unwanted activities to the notice of police immediately so that suitable and strict action against miscreants can be taken under provisions of IPC and IT Act. Two FIRs have already been lodged with Delhi Police on 6th March and 8th March, 2019, against persons circulating fake news regarding paper leak and availability of question papers prior to the examinations.
