Kerala SSLC Exam 2020 To Begin In March, 4.2 Lakh Students To Appear

This year 4.2 lakh candidates will appear for the Kerala SSLC Examination. The board has already released the admit card on the official site.

Kerala Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (SSLC) Exam is all set to begin from March 10 and will conclude on March 26, 2020. This year 4.2 lakh candidates will appear for the Kerala SSLC Examination. The board has already released the admit card on the official site i.e. sslcexam.kerala.gov.in. The hall tickets will be available to students till February 24, 2020 on the official site.

Out of 4,22,347 students, 2,01,259 students have opted for English medium and 2,17,184 students have opted for Malayalam medium. A total of 2377 students will take up the exam in Tamil medium and 1577 students in the Kannada medium.

There are nine subjects and the score obtained by candidates in the continuing evaluation would also be taken into account while calculating the final marks of students. While the ratio of marks alloted between written exams and CE is 80:20 for English, Mathematics and Social Sciences, 40:10 is the ratio for othe rpapers, excluding information technology. The score for IT is fixed as 10:10:30 for continuing evaluation, theory and practical tests.

The Kerala SSLC examination will be conducted from 1.45 pm to 3.30 pm for 40 marks question and from 1.45 pm to 4.45 pm for 80 marks question. There will be 15 minutes cool- off time before the examinations. The examination would begin with the first language paper and would end with Chemistry.

Those schools who have not yet downloaded the admit card can do the same by following the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Go to the official website of Kerala SSLC Hall Ticket 2020 - https://sslcexam.kerala.gov.in/

Step 2: To the right side of the page, principal/head of the school will have to enter school code, username, password

Step 3: Enter captcha and press Login option

Step 4: Take a print out of Kerala SSLC Hall Ticket 2020 and put the school’s seal or stamp on them before handing them over to students.

Students appearing for Kerala SSLC Exam 2020 must check all the details mentioned on the hall ticket or admit card carefully. In case they find any discrepancy, they should immediately inform school authorities.
