Madhya Pradesh State Board Class 12 maths examination paper got leaked in a WhatsApp Group, according to sources in education department. As per media reports, the district education officer is said to be the admin of the Whatsapp group where the maths paper was leaked. The question paper began to circulate one hour before the scheduled commencement of examination in Khachrod of Sehore district.
The incident took place on March 23, 2019 and the name of the WhatsApp group was ‘Inf of private school Sehore.’ On conditions of anonymity, a teacher said the WhatsApp group has other department officials from Sehore including the DEO and district project coordinator as the group admins. The DEO of Sehore, Suresh Kumar Tripathi admitted the fact that the class 12th mathematics question paper has gone public before the commencement of the exam.

Tripathi said, ''I have sent the report to the Board officials. The question paper was shared at 8.25 am, by that time, students have to enter the classrooms and therefore students did not get any benefit of the paper leak''. He further added, ''The recognition of Cambridge School will be cancelled if it is found involved in paper leak.''
Tripathi further added that the WhatsApp group called 'Inf of private school Sehore’ has been found guilty of circulating the question paper through social media. Also, Cambridge School, Sehore, has been found guilty. The MP Board officials have said that they were looking into the matter and would only comment after going through the enquiry report.
