Punjab Board Class 10 and 12 Exams 2020 are postponed due to the outbreak of Coronavirus that has affected everyone in some way or the other. As the COVID-19 is declared a pandemic, PSEB (Punjab School Examination Board) has taken this decision to postpone Punjab Board Class 10 and Class 12 exams 2020 till March 31, 2020 to combat the issue of COVID-19 and stop the virus from spreading further among students. Apart from this, PSEB has also postponed the Class 8 practical exam 2020 and class 5 written exam 2020 in view of COVID-19.
The Punjab Board conducts Class 10 and Class 12 Exams in the state. The board also conducts the centralized examinations for Class 5 and Class 8 students. In view of the dangerous COVID-19 virus, the board has postponed all examinations for Class, 5, 8, 10 and 12 till March 31, 2020. The new board exam 2020 dates will be released by PSEB soon, and students need to stay calm at this point of time.
Students and teachers are advised to follow only the information provided at the official website of Punjab Board, i.e. pseb.ac.in, and should also stay in touch with the respective schools for the latest updates.
Earlier, CBSE, CISCE, Rajasthan Board, MP Board and Chhattisgarh Board also postponed the Board exams 2020 for class 10 and 12 that were scheduled to be held from March 19/20 to March 31, 2020. The revised board exam 2020 timetable will be released by the respective boards in due course of time.
