UP Board Compartmental Exam for Class 12 Students is going to be held from 2020. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad is introducing the Compartment Exam for class 12 students from the year 2020. According to the Board Additional Secretary, the compartmental exam proposal is under consideration and will become active for the class 12 board exam 2020. According to the class 12 compartmental examination, students who are unable to pass in 1 or more than 1 subject shall be provided a second chance to clear the exam.
The compartmental exam system for class 12 students aims to bring down the number of absentees from UP Board Class 12 exams. The introduction of the compartmental exam will surely impact the lakhs of students who are going to appear for the class 12 UP board exam for a better cause. Meanwhile, UP Board is going to monitor all exam centers at the time of examination through live webcasting. This step is taken as an anti-cheating measure and ensure complete security regarding board exams.
The Class 12 compartmental exam move came after UP Board exam re-evaluation fee was increased by five-times last year. From now onwards, candidates will have to pay Rs 500 instead of Rs 100 for getting one paper re-evaluated. According to the UPMSP data, a total of 56,11,689 students enrolled in the UP-Board exams this year of which 30,25,442 students will appear for class 10 exam and 25,86,246 students will appear for class 12 board exam.
