UP Board has taken a big step to stop cheating in exams. The board is all set to install broadband and routers in all the exam centres. This will help the officials to monitor the entire exam hall online through webcasting at the time of UP Board exams 2020. It will only be possible to monitor the decorum of every centre by entering the exam venue’s respective ID and Password. Other than this, the activities of the examination centres can be reviewed by sitting in the office of the UP board.
Meanwhile, in the past 2 years UP Board has installed CCTVs and Voice Recorders at its every exam centre. Since 2010, UP Board has been sending coded copies to all the 75 districts, and for the UP Board exam 2020 new features In the board copies are expected to be added. It is to note that in 10 Uttar Pradesh districts, Stapled Board exam copies are being replaced with stitched copies.
To completely put a stop on cheating in exams, UP Board has also reduced the number of exam centres in the state. This year, 7761 board exam centres have been proposed while there were 8354 exam centres last year. In addition to this, UP Board has given priority to state and aided colleges as board exam centres in the state.
Importantly, candidates should note that the UP Board Exam 2020 will be conducted from February 6 to March 6. The UP Board exam schedule was earlier released by Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma on 1 July 2019. Interestingly, a total of 56,01,034 candidates have enrolled for the UP Board exam which is 194,722 candidates’ less as compared to last year enrolment numbers.
