Last year, the MBOSE Class 12 Science Results were declared on May 10 around 10 am. The Meghalaya Board of School Education had conducted the examinations for Science, Commerce and Arts courses from March 6 to March 29 in 2018. According to reports, around 30,000 students had appeared for the examinations. The number of female students was more than male students. For SSLC exam, more than 50,000 students are said to have appeared for the exam.

About MBOSE
The Meghalaya Board of School Education was set up as per the 1973 MBOSE Act. The board has the right to control, regulate and look after the matters associated with school education in Meghalaya. Initially, the education board was functioning in the office of the director of public instruction. On the other hand, the education board also conducts examinations for secondary school leaving certificate for students.
