MV logos Hope which is regarded as the world’s largest floating bookstore has arrived in Mexico’s Veracruz to provide knowledge, help and hope.
The ship will visit four different Mexican ports over the next four months, according to a report in Efe news. Pavel Martinez, the ship's media relations officer told Efe news that it would head to Tampico, Coatzacoalcos and Puerto Progreso.
The ship would also travel to Central America, post its journey in Mexico. The floating bookstore which is owned by GBA Ships has state-of-the-art infrastructure, its own concert hall, theatre and a conference room.
The crew of the ship donates books to different schools, jails and orphanages so as to impart knowledge. As a matter of fact, four hundred volunteers from 65 countries offered over 5,000 books for donation.
Interestingly, many visitors consider this their only opportunity to buy high-quality literary books at lower prices.
