Nearly a month after releasing the results for IIT JAM 2019, the IITs on Friday started the submision of application for admission to various Post Bachelor's (PG) Degree Programmes at various institutions across India. Candidates can visit the official website of JAM 2019, i.e, jam.iitkgp.ac.in to submit their applications for IIT PG programmes. While the last date for submission of application is April 25, the receipt of request for change of category will be accepted till April 29. However, candidates need to show proper documents in order to change their category in the application form.
Apart from various PG programmes, inclduing M.Sc. (Two Years), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, JAM 2019 scores can be also used for admissions to the Integrated Ph.D. Programme at the Indian Institute of Science or IISc and NITs and IISER programmes. A total of 2152 seats are allotted for PG courses in several IITs across the country through JAM 2019 score.
This year the IIT JAM 2019 exam took place on February 10. The prestigious online computer based test was conducted in two sessions i.e. Morning session starting from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and the afternoon session between 2.30 pm and 5.30 pm.

The IIT Kharagpur will make the first, second and third admission list available on the official website of JAM 2019 from June 4, June 18, and June 28, 2019 respectively.
The payment of seat booking through online process for first, second and third admission list will be accepted till June 4, June 24, and July 2, 2019 respectively. The admission process through JAM 2019 will end on July 4, 2019.
At the time of admission into their respective PG programmes, candidates are required to carry all the essential documents like Class 10 and Class 12 certificates, qualifying date sheets and birth certificate among others.
