JEE Advanced 2019 exam data sheet has been revised. The exam conducting body IIT Roorkee that was supposed to hold the exams for admission to Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree program courses at IITs on May 19 will do so on May 27.,Â
A notification published on the official website www.jeeadv.ac.in says,Â
"In view of the clash in the dates of JEE (Advanced) 2019 and the last phase of General Elections 2019, the examination date of JEE (Advanced) 2019 has been shifted to May 27, 2019 (Monday). The examination will be held in India and abroad, on May 27, 2019 (Monday), in the following two shifts: Paper 1 (09:00 to 12:00 IST) and Paper 2 (14:00 to 17:00 IST)."
There will be 2 examinations held under JEE Advanced 2019 which will be conducted completely in online mode through Computer Based Test (CBT).Â
Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of JEE Advanced 2019 will be conducted on May 27 over two sessions.
A total of 2,24,000 candidates are eligible to appear for the JEE and there will be total 11,279 seats available for admissions in IITs. The admission process will be conducted through JoSAA counselling on the basis of ranks secured by the candidates in the JEE Advanced 2019.
The Jee mains April Examination admit cards are expected to be released today. JEE Main 2019 April Exam is being held on April 07, 08, 09, 10 and 12, 2019. The registrations are closed and as per the reports, 70% of the candidates registered for the April attempt have also appeared in the January exam. The exam is being held across 264 cities and in online mode only.
