JEE Main 2020: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will start the online application process for JEE Main January 2020 exams from today, i.e. September 2, 2019. The agency has made the JEE Main January 2020 application link available at the official website of the examination and NTA which are jeemain.nic.in and nta.ac.in. Eligible candidates will be able to register for the Joint Entrance Examination online till September 30, 2019. JEE Main 2020, which is a gateway to engineering and technological institutes across the country will be held as a screening-cum-eligibility test from January 6 to January 11 next year.
As per the recent changes implemented this year, foreign nationals will have to appear for JEE Main exam for admissions to IIITs, NITs and other government engineering colleges in India. Like 2018, this year too the exam will take place twice in a year. Wherein the first session will be held in January and the second session is scheduled for April.
JEE Main 2020 exam will be held in online (Computer-Based) mode, for which candidates can download the admit cards on December 6. The result will be declared on January 31. The notification, application details, eligibility, exam pattern syllabus and other details will be made available in the official release of the exam.

On similar lines, the registration process for JEE Main April session will be ehld between February 7 and March 7, 2020 while the admit card will be released for download on March 16. Subsequently, the result will be published on April 30.
Once the January and April session exams get over, a consolidated rank list will be released. Apart from this, a separate list will be prepared that will comprise the percentile score. Candidates (Indian Nationals), who make it to the rank list of 2, 45,000, are eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced. It is expected that nearly 20 lakh students will appear for JEE Main 2020 exam.
Ahead of the JEE Main 2020, the NTA has established a countrywide network of Test Practice Centres (TPCs) across India where aspirants can familiarise themselves with the exam pattern.
