The National Testing Agency or the NTA will start the online registration for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2019, April session exam from Friday i.e., February 8, 2019. The candidates who are preparing for the examination can visit the official website of the agency for online registration.
All those candidates who have already given the exam once, but wish to reappear, can also fill the online application form at jeemain.nic.in. The candidates must note that the students who have not appeared for the JEE Main 2019 January examination can also fill for the online application forms on jeemain.nic.in.
The candidates are also informed that the better NTA Score, between JEE Main 2019 January and JEE Main 2019 April session, would be considered for the final JEE Main 2019 Rank. Shortlist for the JEE Advanced 2019 examination would be done on the basis of the JEE Main 2019 Rank.
According to the sources, the National Testing Agency will be revising the eligibility criteria following the SC order. Supreme Court of India, on January 22 passed the order to remove the age barrier from the IIT JEE or JEE Advanced 2019 examination. Since JEE Main 2019 is a qualifier for JEE Advanced 2019, it can be presumed that the eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2019 may also be tweaked to accommodate the age limit clause.
