As per media reports, his target is to qualify the UPSC examination.
Meena, son of a daily wager completed his primary education from a government school in his village Bhajera. As per Hindustan Times report, the nearest college was 28-30 km away from his home and he also was required to help his father and thus had to discontinue his education.
So how exactly did Meena prepare for the exam? The HT report quoted him saying that some of the JNU students helped him and provided PDF notes to him. And he used to follow newspapers on phone.
Lauding Meena’s efforts, Vice Chancellor M Jagadesh Kumar said, “We have always encouraged students from diverse backgrounds. We nurture them by providing them critical thinking ability.”
