University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test, UGC NET 2019 registration for the upcoming June exams will end on March 30, 2019. Candidates who wish to apply for the same can visit the official website ntanet.nic.in. The application window would remain open till 11:50 pm. Candidates can pay the fees till April 1, 2019 via online payment options such as Debit, Credit and Net banking.
Important dates for UGC NET 2019 Examinations:
Correction Window: April 7, 2019 to April 14, 2019
Admit Card download: May 15, 2019
Dates of Examination: June 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28
Declaration of Result: On or before July 15, 2019

UGC NET 2019 Eligibility: Candidates who have secured atleast 55% marks in their Masters from a UGC recognised college/ university are eligible for UGC NET 2019 exam. Candidates belonging to SC/ST OBC/ PwD categories, the minimum percentage required to qualify for the exam is 50%.
Age criteria: Junior Research Fellowship: Age must not be more than 30 years as on June 1, 2019.Assistant Professor: There is no age limit to apply for the role of Assistant Professor.
About UGC NET Exam: National Testing Agency (NTA) is responsible for conducting UGC NET Exam every year for admission to Junior Research Fellowship, JRF programmes and Assistant Professorship with recognized universities. The examination would be entirely Computer Based Test.
