Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2020 date on the official website. The exam will be conducted on 31 May, 2020. Along with UPSC Civil Services prelims, the commission will also conduct the Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination, 2020 through CS (P) Examination 2020 on May 31.
The registration process will begin on February 12, 2020, and will end on March 3, 2020. Students can check details by visiting the official website of UPSC i.e. upsc.gov.in.
UPSC IAS Prelims 2020 – Educational Qualifications
The candidate must possess a degree of any of universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University or equivalent education in order to appear for UPSC IAS Prelims 2020.
UPSC Civil Services Exam 2020: Age limit
Age of the candidate must be 21 years and not more than 32 years as on 1st August, 2019. This means he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1987 and not later than 1st August, 1998.
Meanwhile, this year UPSC conducted Civil Services Preliminary exam on June 2, 2019 in which more than 10 lakh students appeared. As per students, the exam was expectedly difficult this year as compared to last year. The exam was held in two parts with Paper-I being conducted in the morning and Paper-II in the afternoon.
