The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is now accepting applications for scrutiny of CBSE Class 10 and CBSE Class 12 board examinations marks. The Board is however excepting applications for scrutiny in twelve subjects only.
These subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Economics, Accountancy, Business Studies, Hindi Core and Hindi Elective, English Core, two English Electives — one based on the curriculum of the CBSE while other on that of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).
CBSE will be accepting applications for the scrutiny of the board marks till July 7.
“Request for a maximum 10 questions in theory portion in twelve subjects will be entertained at the rate of Rs 100 per question. Request for scrutiny of the marks will only be accepted once,” the CBSE said in a notification.
It also added saying, “The applicant will have to refer to the marking scheme in the subject concerned, which would be available on the website along with the question paper and then submit application for scrutiny in the required question(s) with reasoning,” the board stated.
The notice regarding the scrutiny of marks was released by the CBSE on June 28 which said "the applications for the scrutiny of marks for particular questions in theory paper shall be received from July 1 to July 7."
