The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains Results 2018 has been declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) at 6:45 pm on Monday, April 30, 2018. The board has made the results available at its official website - cbseresults.nic.in and JEE Mains’ official website jeemain.nic.in.
Around 12 lakh students appeared for the JEE Mains 2018 examination which was conducted by the CBSE in April, 2018. Students who have successfully cleared the JEE (Mains) shall now be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam paper.
This time, the 12th class marks played no role in calculating the ranks in the JEE (Mains) examination. However, to qualify for the admission in the IITs/NITs/IIITs, students have to secure at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination.
JEE Mains result 2018: How to check Joint Entrance Examination results
Step 1: Log on to the official website of JEE mains - jeemain.nic.in or the official website of CBSE - cbseresults.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the 'JEE Mains 2018 Results' link blinking on the homepage of the website
Step 3: You will be asked to fill in your details: Enter your application number, Date of birth and security pin.
Step 4: Cross your fingers, chant a 'Saraswati mantra' and hit the submit button to view your result.
Step 5: If you have cleared it, say thanks to us and party hard. If not cleared, better luck next time.
Step 6: Take a print out of your result for future convenience.
