According to media report the result declaration date will be announced by the board soon at the official website cbseresults.nic.in and cbseneet.nic.in.

CBSE NEET Result 2017 date not CONFIRMED; confusion on 8 marks

CBSE NEET Result 2017: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not made any official statement nor has relesed any notificatin on result date. According to media report the result declaration date will be announced by the board soon at the official website cbseresults.nic.in and cbseneet.nic.in. 

On Tuesday morning, the official results portal of Government of India had posted a notice that the NEET result will be out today. The same notice has now been removed from the website and an official confirmation is awaited.

Also, there is an ongoing discussion on the 8 bonus marks on the ambiguous questions. So it can be belived that the reason behind the delay is this. They pointed towards the ambiguity of the questions and that the answers could not be calculated correctly by the students as the questions did not clearly provide the requisite information. Earlier, this issue was raised before various High Courts and petition was also filed by parents and students.

The cbse NEET result 2017 will give relief to lakhs of students who are anxiously waiting for the result declaration and commencement of the counselling process. The counselling process for candidates who qualify NEET will be supervised by Medical Council of India (MCI).

On May 7, over 11.35 lakh students appeared for the CBSE NEET exams 2017 across the country. 88,000 candidates had registered for NEET in Tamil Nadu, while more than 84,000 took the test.

CBSE was forced to stop evaluation of answer sheers following the court’s order. Also, the answer keys were not declared as per schedule on May 30.

There are 24 government-run colleges and equal number of private colleges in Tamil Nadu. The counselling sessions will start only by the month-end even if the CBSE NEET Results 2017 are announced in mid-June.
