The Supreme Court will hear CBSE's plea against stay on NEET results on Monday. The Central Board of Secondary Education has also seeked transfer of matter from Madras & Gujarat HC to SC.
Delay in CBSE NEET 2017 result is making students time hard. After so much of controvery and issues it seems that students will have to wait a bit longer. As per the schedule given by the Board, NEET 2017 results were supposed to be released on 8 June.
However the current scenario, gives a hint of delay as the CBSE has said that it set up two question papers across the country for the NEET-2017 exams. Further it has also said that question papers in 8 vernacular languages had been set up for the entrance exam. The submission was made before the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court which had stayed the announcement of the results.
As per the latest update, a fresh petition has been filed seeking to cancel the NEET which was held for admission to MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2017-18. The case is to be taken for hearing next week.
However, the Madras High Court is hearing the batch of petitions filed by students on June 7 after granting an interim stay on the result declaration scheduled for 8 June. Justice M V Muralidharan had directed officials of the Medical Council of India, the CBSE Director and the Union health department to file their counter affidavits on June 7.
Further no update has been given by the Board regarding the result date.
