The results of UGC conducted  National Eligibilty Test are to be declared soon by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on its official website, cbse.nic.in

How to check CBSE UGC NET results:

In order to check the results, the candidates will have to go on the official website and click on the link 'Check CBSE UGC NET Jan Results 2017. You have to enter the details in it and submit the same. And then the results will be displayed on the screen. Printout of the results can be taken for future use.

What role does CBSE hold:

CBSE plays the role of only conducting the UGC NET examination and declaration of results.

E-certificates:

The UGC-NET Bureau issues e-certificates to the qualified candidates. So for the e-certificates, the candidates can refer to Head, UGC NET Bureau, University of Delhi, South Campus, Benito Juarez Marg, New Delhi.

The UGC Net exam was conducted on January 22. It consisted of three rounds of papers with objective type questions. The difficulty level of the paper increased from the first level to the last round.

About CBSE UGC NET:

UGC (University Grants Commission) is a statutory organisation established by the union government in 1956. The main objective of the organization is to provide recognition to the Indian universities and provide funds for the universities that are recognized and colleges.

CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) now conducts this exam on behalf of UGC. The exam is conducted for the post of lecturer and for providing JRF to the Indian nationals for ensuring minimum standards for the entrants in teaching profession and in research.

The exam is conducted in streams such as Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce, etc.
